American Samaritan offers free furniture pick up options for qualifying items, helping make donation simple and accessible while supporting our community.

For furniture that meets our acceptance criteria and is located within 5 miles of our Lakewood location, we offer a free full-service pick-up option. Availability is based on the items we can place and current space.

We also offer additional free donation options, including approved drop-off when items meet our needs.

For those outside the 5-mile area—or for anyone who prefers a guaranteed, scheduled service—we offer an optional full-service pickup for $149 within 25 miles. For distances beyond 25 miles, additional mileage rates may apply.

This pickup service is completely optional and separate from the donation program. Many donors choose it for convenience, while others take advantage of our free donation options.
