Simple Donation Process With Community Impact

American Samaritan offers piano donation and pickup options designed to fit a variety of situations while supporting our community programs.

We provide free donation options for qualifying pianos when they meet our acceptance criteria and we have space available.

For those who prefer a simple, scheduled solution, we offer an optional full-service piano pickup for $299 within 25 miles of our Lakewood location. This service includes our professional, insured piano movers, truck, and specialized equipment to safely remove the piano from your home. For distances beyond 25 miles, additional mileage rates may apply.

This pickup service is completely optional and separate from the donation program. Many donors choose it for convenience, especially in situations where a piano may not meet current donation criteria or when a guaranteed scheduled pickup is preferred.

Unlike the donation program, this service is not limited by condition, placement needs or current inventory, allowing us to provide a reliable solution for all pianos.

Your Donation Matters

Through our Pianos to the People Scholarship Program, your piano donation has the opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of families and young musicians across Colorado.

We work to place donated pianos into homes where they will be used, appreciated, and become part of someone’s story. To date, we’ve helped hundreds of families experience the value of having a piano in their home.

Because of this mission, we’re selective about the pianos we accept into the donation program—focusing on those we can confidently place and maintain.

Every piano has potential, and we’re committed to finding the best possible outcome for each one whenever we can.

Share Music, Shape a Child’s Future

At American Samaritan, we believe every child should have access to the opportunity to learn and experience music in their home.

Your piano donation helps make that possible—creating opportunities for families across Colorado to enjoy the lasting impact of music, creativity, and growth.

Whether your piano is placed directly into a home, used within our programs, or repurposed in a meaningful way, your decision to donate contributes to something bigger than the instrument itself.

Join us in giving your piano a second life and making a lasting difference in our community.
